We are a multi-disciplined mental health centre in Barrie Ontario, focused on helping people heal from trauma of all different types. We specialize in: Individual Therapy Couples Therapy PTSD & Trauma At BeyondTRC, we believe trauma is at the root of nearly all people’s mental health problems. But what is trauma? People respond to negative events in different ways. Trauma is the emotional response when a negative event is overwhelming. When thoughts and memories of the traumatic event don’t go away or they get worse, they may lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which can seriously disrupt a person’s life. Our group of dedicated therapists has worked in the mental health industry for more than a combined 50 years.
