I attended my daughter’s appointment with Dr. Simin Emadzadeh, who was her family doctor at the time.

My daughter asked simple questions about her treatment and medications. She was not rude, aggressive, or disrespectful at all. She was trying to understand what was happening with her medical care.

The doctor’s reaction was very upsetting to witness. She became angry, spoke harshly, and did not give my daughter a fair chance to speak. She aggressively told her not to ask any questions at all. My daughter remained calm, but the doctor’s attitude became more hostile as the appointment went on.

I was especially disturbed by the way the doctor spoke about her and stared her down during the appointment. It was completely unprofessional. She even went off at me when I tried to calmly intervene.

This experience was very shocking because my daughter had always described her previous appointments with this doctor as positive. I had even attended a previous appointment with her where the doctor seemed pleasant. Because of that, what happened felt completely unexpected, uncalled for, and unfair.

Dr. Emadzadeh then suddenly ended the appointment and told my daughter to leave and take her file to another family doctor. My daughter left the appointment crying and extremely distressed. As her mother, it was painful to watch her be treated that way during a medical appointment.

Based on what I personally witnessed, I would strongly advise against choosing this doctor.

I was Dr. Emadzadeh’s patient, and my experience ended in one of the most shocking and distressing medical appointments I have ever had.

I attended what I expected would be a routine appointment. During the visit, I asked a few clarifying questions about my treatment plan because I wanted to understand my care and medications. Instead of answering my questions, Dr. Emadzadeh became visibly angry. She raised her voice, told me not to ask questions, and became increasingly hostile when I tried to explain that I was only seeking clarification so that I could better understand my own medical care.

My mother was present during the appointment and witnessed the interaction.

My mother and I remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. In between going off at my mother about me, Dr. Emadzadeh would stop speaking, turn toward me, and stare at me in silence for an uncomfortable length of time. The expression on her face appeared to convey rage and contempt. The interaction was shocking, unsettling, and genuinely frightening. I was left confused as to why I had become the target of such hostility simply for asking clarifying questions about my treatment plan.

At one point, she told me to “just Google it like you Google everything else” rather than asking questions about my treatment.

Shortly thereafter, Dr. Emadzadeh abruptly ended the appointment and stated: “This visit is over, and you can go ahead and take your file to another family doctor.”

I left the appointment stunned and utterly confused.

At the time, I was under her care for multiple ongoing medical issues and medications, and I also had upcoming specialist testing scheduled, including a cardiology appointment for problems with my heart. There was no transition plan, continuity of care arrangements, or guidance regarding ongoing management of my care before I was told to find another physician and dismissed.

What makes this experience even more shocking is that, for most of the time I was her patient, I viewed Dr. Emadzadeh positively. She initially seemed kind and professional, which is why the sudden shift in attitude and hostility during my final appointment was so unexpected. I did not see it coming because I trusted her.

Patients deserve to feel safe asking questions about their healthcare. They deserve to understand their treatment plans without being treated as though seeking clarification is a personal attack. My experience left me feeling dismissed, unheard, and deeply distressed.

I am sharing this review so that others can make an informed decision about whether this is the type of physician-patient relationship they are looking for.

Do not choose this doctors office, especially dr. Okravi. She does not care in the slightest about her patients, lies about sending refferals , and rarely tells you anything about any results you may have. Thank god for my carecompass because thats the only way i know when somethings wrong with me. this doctor doesnt say shit. Steer clear !!!

Dr. Elserafy has been my family doctor for a few years now. He is the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever had, and truly cares about my overall well-bring in every aspect. I feel very grateful to have him as my doctor.

This clinic works really efficiently. I had to wait only 15 minutes to see a walkin doctor.
