The service was good and David was very friendly. I’m very particular with my nails and they came out stunning. I explained I prefer a natural look and not bulky nor thick. Requested shellac overlay rounded square shape and it was perfect. The reason I didn’t give him a 5, is because it is older salon and the aesthetics is blah. Nor does it come with any luxurious perks, that you may find at some of the newer nail salons.

I've been coming to Highlite Nails on and off for many years. David and his wife are excellent nail technicians, and their prices are reasonable compared to other nearby salons. While the area can be a bit sketchy, the salon itself is clean and decent, though not particularly fancy.

I went in on a Saturday and the place was dead. Got a shellac set which blew off about a week later, which is a bit soon. The lady who did my nails did a good attempt but it had to be taken over by a more experienced lady who was sitting in the back.
Honestly kind of dodgey vibes from the whole place and I felt bad for the lady who was trying to do my silly neon orange nails. Overall felt the place was kind of not the cleanest and pretty sketchy. Also there was shellac all over my fingers when I left. Kind of an iffy experience. Might just hit up a busier place next time…
