I started practicing kendo in 2021 and I love it so much! I feel like I’ve learned a lot in a very short time. The community is welcoming and very family friendly. Tulsa Kendo is affiliated with the All United States Kendo Federation and the Southwest Kendo and Iaido Federation, so you can travel and your rank is recognized where ever you go.
The head instructor, Michael Lindsay Sensei, is an experienced and wonderful teacher. In the 3 years that I’ve been practicing, the dojo has grown exponentially. This dojo has an amazing feeling. The feeling of being welcome into something new can be very overwhelming. But with the guidance of the Sensei's and senpais, this is the place to learn authentic traditional kendo

I've been practicing Kendo here since 2010. The only AUSKF and SWKIF affiliated authentic Kendo school in Tulsa. One of the very best instructors I've met and awesome club (no tuition) members to sweat together. Very friendly atmosphere yet with strong emphasis on discipline and etiquette. Great place to forge your mental as well as physical strength.
