I highly recommend Dr. Scott Reid as an exceptional orthopedic specialist. Unfortunately, Soonercare refused to cover my surgery, citing 20 minutes of pain relief as sufficient, forcing me to cancel the procedure. I was informed of this decision by Dr. Reid's nurse after completing my pre-admission visit the previous day. I was devastated by this news and am still in disbelief that Soonercare considers 20 minutes of pain relief adequate to cancel a hip replacement procedure. Apparently, Soonercare believes that this brief respite will suffice to address my stage 4, end-of-life hip condition, which is progressing to the right side. Dr Small did a fantastic job on my December 12th total hip replacement. Just two weeks post-surgery, I am walking without a walker or cane. My incision looks great and healing. He is the BEST out there. If you are having hip pain or trouble with your hips, you need to reach out to his office. You will not be disappointed. Promise... read full review
