Silk Salon is a unique luxury escape in the heart of Downtown Tulsa. The space is designed so beautifully, serene and aesthetically pleasing. From the moment one enters, the service is equally great. The salon is optimally designed to meet the hair care and styling needs of all hair types and textures. The stylists are amazing, professional, kind, and easy to talk to. They guide clients through every step and make excellent recommendations, caring about the quality of the hair. Services include the best braids, the best silk press, natural hair styling, color, cuts, and eyebrow appointments. Stylists use gentle, thorough techniques and take extra care to lock in moisture. Clients are blown away by the perfect color, perfect cut, and wonderful experience. The full service menu includes blow outs, silk presses, natural hair styling, extension installation as well as all color and braiding services. It is everything, and clients are thankful, happy, and highly recommend it. They definitely plan to be back.
I wish I could rate higher than five stars. My experience at Silk was nothing short but amazing. It was my first time and as someone who just moved here, I was hesitant to branch out but after reading reviews I felt like I would be in good hands and I was not wrong. Imani took beautiful care of me, I felt at ease in her presence from the second I walked through the door. Alia (apologies if I misspelled my diva’s name) gave me the gentlest hair wash i’ve ever had and i’m truly grateful for the beautiful conversation we had. I’m new to the Tulsa area and finding a braider has been the hardest thing ever but I found Nicole and she’s AMAZING!! Hands down the best braids I’ve ever had. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a braider you book with Nicole.
I had an amazing eyebrow appointment with Lexi! She was so professional, kind, and easy to talk to. She guided me through every step of the process and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. My brows turned out great, and she even helped me book my next appointment before I left. Highly recommend seeing Lexi — she’s wonderful!
