TLDR: -sense of humor. -amazing staff & doctors -Dr McDaniels is fluent in ASL. -2SLGBTQIA safe space. I have been a patient here since before the pandemic, have seen both doctors and have never had a bad experience. Honestly, I don't know how I hadn't left a review before!! It is really a whole experience, away from the white sterile environments I usually think of when I think of seeing an eye doctor. The art is so beautiful and well appointed, done by one of our incredibly talented local artists, in art deco, featuring beautiful wood built-in cabinets to feature the spectacles. I have seen Dr. McDaniels for at least 7 years. I found Look when searching Yelp for an eye dr. He is THE nicest person I have ever met, and every person that has worked in the office for the amount of time I’ve been there is the same. He really takes his time in each appointment and explains everything well. He listens attentively to any concerns and doesn’t rush anyone. They’re responsive and fit you in quickly with emergencies and their text messaging system makes it easy to communicate. Everyone there is always kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They got me in and out in about an our for both contacts and glasses. I like that you can pick out glasses online to try on beforehand. It made trying them on after the exam more smooth.
