I've been coming here for years and I've always been treated with kindness and respect. Dr. Kelly is a great addition! He has been on top of getting referrals and lab work to figure out my 10 year struggle with health issues. He is educated and I feel like I'm in great hands with his care.
My biggest concern is how children are treated during blood draws. Kids are already scared of needles, so being aggressive or impatient isn’t acceptable. Children can feel your energy, and a calm, compassionate approach is so important. I hope the clinic provides more training for staff who work with pediatric patients, because every child deserves to feel safe and respected during their visit. I have been going to this location for years and usually don't have an issue, but I've received two vaccinations in the wrong location now. Two different vaccines, two different people administering, two different occasions. The first time was given in the shoulder, and had pain shoot down to my fingers. I was hurting for a few weeks after. They most likely hit a nerve. The second one same location in the shoulder and having usual side effects not nerve pain. I'm also a nurse and it just takes a little bit of education on IM administrations in deltoid muscle to avoid possible damage.
