Update: Affordable Insulation of Tulsa recently got a new automated system. There were kinks they are trying to work out. He is super approachable and they really are a great company.
Chris came out and spent a lot of time going over the things that needed to be addressed. I appreciated all his efforts and hard work, however, their automated emails and text messages were HORRIBLE! Every single day I got a text asking me to call them. The one time I did call them to reschedule my appointment, they said they would take care of it but never did and the salesperson showed up on the original day, when I wasn't expecting them. It was a mess and way more aggravation than what was necessary. If I could just rate my salesperson, Chris, I'd give him a 5 star review.

Affordable removed our wet moldy batten insulation with a big vacuum, very efficient. However we later noticed that the bug screens over the crawl space vents were knocked out of place so we couldn’t close the vents without going down into the crawl space and fixing them. A minor problem, Would have been 5 stars otherwise

I first thought their price was high.. but these guys are specialists!We had a animal infestation and feces. The attic is now like new.. like it never happened.. and better than when house was built! The insulation and cellulose is 21 inches thick.. 4 inches higher than promised.. and 3 times higher than the rafters. We're already saving money and the new furnace hardly ever runs because the thermal insulating properties of R60.Highly recommend Affordable Insulation.

McCoy with Affordable Insulation was amazing! He answered all of our questions, along with taking pictures/videos before and throughout the process. He even cleaned up after himself! He went above and beyond. We can not wait to see the difference in our heating and cooling bill. I highly recommend him.

I had Affordable Insulation out last July to see about adding insulation. Chris sold me on removing all existing insulation, sealing joints & putting covers over light fixtures, then adding R60 level of insulation. He said we could expect an energy savings of about 40%. BIG investment, but we scheduled the service. McCoy and his helper spent 2 days in July working in the heat. Hopefully, you're taking care of them cause that's some tough work. McCoy also ran exhaust lines from our 2 bathroom exhaust fans to the outside. They also did a good job cleaning up as they worked. After completion, I got emails asking to leave a review, but I said I needed to see what my savings over several months would be. 6 months later, our utility usage has averaged 35% less than 1 year ago and 20% less than 2 years ago. This is actual gas & electric usage, not dollars. I haven't researched the weather temps to compare the last 2 years with the last 6 months.In MY opinion some salesmen have a reputation for stretching the facts, and even though we haven't seen a 40% savings, I gotta say at this point Chris is close enough I'll recommend Affordable Insulation to anyone considering insulation.Gary H.

I called Affordable Insulation because I saw that they removed insulation from attics. I had several projects in the attic to be worked on. Affordable Insulation removed the old insulation and waited several months on me to get wiring, heat/air and exhaust fans completed. They returned a day before a major attic cold front hit and blanketed our attic with new R60 cellulose insulation. Wow. We are so appreciative of their fine work. The also sealed cracks and alerted us about some wiring issues that they saw. Electricians verified they we indeed fire hazards and would need to be rewired. These hazardous wiring conditions were covered up with the old insulation.We would recommend highly to consider using Affordable Insulation for your insulation needs.
