Shape Fitness in Tecumseh is a clean and secure gym with plenty of machines, free weights, and an aerobic room. The bathrooms and showers are also kept clean. It is reasonably priced and has a card entry system for security. The gym has a small kids zone, but does not offer sports areas such as basketball or racquetball courts. The staff, particularly an employee named Kevin, are noted for their excellence in customer service. However, some customers are reported to be disrespectful towards employees, ignoring requests to scan their membership cards. Overall, Shape Fitness in Tecumseh is a great spot for a small town gym, with a variety of equipment and a standout employee in Kevin.
I have been going to the tecumseh shape fitness for over 2 yrs now and out of all the employees I have dealt with the ONLY ONE to ever actually greet you, clean the entire time he is there, goes out of his way to be helpful and needs a raise and a promotion. Coming from a business owners I get how hard it is to keep good employees, but Kevin is definitely one of them. Honestly if he wasn't working there we would have switched gyms but due to his excellence we choose to stay and will stay while he is there.However the lack of disrespect I see come from some of the customers just for them simply being asked to.scan their gym membership cards. This is a pretty great spot for a small town gym. It has an aerobics room, some tanning, exercise machines, free weights, and cardio machines. There are no sports areas such as basketball, racquetball, or a pool. It does have a small kids zone.
So much equipment and tanning included. You can't beat it with a stick. Check this place up. You will not be disappointed. I recommend this spot for everyone looking to getting shape or just get some color
