Dr. Cookson has always treated me great, and I’ve really enjoyed my care here. I gave 4 stars because several times I’ve had poor experiences on the phone. I would never hold one interaction against anybody, but it’s not a coincidence anymore. The lady who answers the phone is rude. My insurance recently changed and when I called with a painful problem, the lady told me they don’t take my insurance and will not see me. I’ve been seeing Dr. Cookson and would have gladly paid out of pocket and waited for an appointment. On the off chance the providers read these, I think it’s important that they know how their patients are treated (and pushed away) on the phone.

I wound up here after seeing a quack in Locust Grove. I had been dealing with an ingrown toenail for a month. Within 30 minutes I had the relief I desperately needed and Doctor Cookson was top notch! He made me feel very comfortable and assured me I would feel better the next day! It’s the next day and I absolutely feel better!! I had a bit of a rough night but nothing Tylenol didn’t help. Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Hammond is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever been too and I’ve been heavily tied to the medical industry since I was 13. I spent 5 years getting passed around doctor to doctor because they couldn’t figure out how to help me. Only since moving here and working with Dr. Hammond I’ve not only improved my conditions significantly but he’s one of the only doctors I’ve known that can quote studies that I read about medication, understands their interactions with one another and their side effects and actually informs you on them before you take them.
