I highly recommend Physical Therapy Central if you are having any vertigo problems. I made an appointment with Katie Gallagher because I was having problems with vertigo a few days before leaving on a trip out of the country. After one session I am happy to report I had no problems at all with my vertigo during an overnight flight or during my trip. Do not suffer with this condition, make an appointment with Katie.
I’ve only had my evaluation but I have a cluster of rare(ish) medical conditions that are frequently dismissed or unknown to medical professionals. I’m use to doing the ‘inform my care team without bruising egos’ dance. PT Gallagher is the first medical professional I have worked with who was both familiar with my conditions and consistently incorporated their systemic effects into her expectations of my capability to perform requested motions etc. She purposely made room for my invisible disabilities and consciously folded them into my evaluation. I almost cried from the relief of not feeling like I needed to hide.
