I woke up in the middle of the night to someone breaking my infants window. I called Shipman home improvement at 4 am, and by 5 am the boss was there himself to help. He gave me a temporary solution for the day until proper efficient windows were installed. As a single mother money is tight, so he offered me a financial plan that worked for me and with a discount. Now my house is not only safer, but my bill has been reduced significantly. Thank you to everyone at Shipman!

This is what we got from this company for $34,000. They took money from the bank to fix our house and left us with this, along with sending an extra bill for $6,000. The "Vice President", Curtis Daggs got $23,000 from the bank to start remodeling our house and went on vacation with his family 2 weeks later to Florida. I was referred to them by our realtor and a lady at the mortgage company. Needless to say we will be filing complaints through the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, the CIB, and through our mortgage company. Along with taking this company to court for failure to complete the remodel, fraud, and utilizing unlicensed trade people to complete jobs in the residence. I would suggest NEVER using this company, unless you would like to be stuck with a demolitioned house that is unlivable!

We have been doing business with these guys for more than 2 months and have close to nothing to show for it. These guys took almost $40,000 (of our allotted $82,000) in advance money from our FHA 203K loan and didn't complete one full job before walking off of the job claiming that the bank stopped funding their project. They allegedly ordered an HVAC unit and a Septic tank on Day 1. Thhose never showed up and were never installed. They didn't use licensed plumbers or electricians per FHA guideline and then we find out later that the electric work done isn't sufficient for the completion of the job. Curtis claims that our still incomplete shower is a 10k project and it took them 8 days just to tile (no grout still) the shower. He quoted me $5,500 to tile a bedroom that other contractors quoted me $2,500 to do. When I asked to see invoices from vendors or subcontractors to see where all the money was allegedly going in regard to materials and labor, Curtis flat out refused to give me anything saying it wasn't standard practice. I asked for the name of the electrician he had work on our house and he refused to give me the guys name or the company name. I asked him for an invoice showing the price of the cabinets that he claims cost $10K, he refused to show me anything stating "We don't supply invoices from our vendors and subcontractors." When our HUD inspector came out to look at the work done so far before honoring another withdrawal, he valued the work completed work to be under $20k, the bank then placed a hold on future advances. Curtis then walked off of the job stating that he wasn't being paid and sent me a $6,000 bill. We've since talked to other contractors to get the job finished. Every last one of them scoff at Shipman's lack of work and ridiculously astronomical price tag. To include kitchen cabinets valued by Curtis Daggs at $10,000 that are cut at the wrong measurements and will need to be cut and modified just to be placed in the kitchen. This is what happens when two clowns hang-off the coat tails of the name and reputation of a once great man and company. I will tell everybody that I know to stay away from these guys. They took $40k, refused to provide one invoice from any work done and then walk off the job claiming they've burned through all 40k already. Insane to say the least.

Allen tried to stiff me on almost $20,000 for lumber that we previously agreed upon. I wouldn't call them thieves but I'd advise anybody who does business with them to read the fine print. They are slippery.

Shipman just did a complete redo of a 1956 bathroom and a remodel creating a new master bath and walk-in closet. We feel like we live in a luxury resort! They did a wonderful job and worked diligently until everything was complete. They addressed any concerns or questions we had along the way. I would definitely recommend them for your next remodel project. Thank you, Shipman!Service: Remodeling

They replaced the siding on the property, completed in timely manner, high quality workmanship and excellent pricing. Also they have tore out shower and window and replaced tile in tub surround Highly recommend Shipman!!!On personal home, complete tear out and replace tile in hall bathroom. Installed new flooring throughout home. Was a large job and they performed with excellent quality in timely fashion! On rental home, tore out bath and window, replaced tile surround in bathroom and filled in window area and replaced siding on the outside to cover the window space. They did find siding that matched older outside siding shape and had to paint to match the older existing siding on the home. Matched it perfectly! Extremely happy with all the jobs they have completed on multiple properties.Thank you Shipman Home Improvements!!Services: Exterior decorating

Curtis and his crew are proficient at their craft. We have had windows, siding installed by them and this is a class act. Always up to a challenge and never disappoints. If they don't like how something looks they fix it without anyone asking. The last of the GREAT CRAFTSMEN. You would not be disappointed.I am a contractor and always use these guys.
