While recovering from a fractured ankle, it was recommended that I "give yoga a try." My background in yoga was limited, but I felt that consistently practicing this discipline might improve my flexibility and balance - both had suffered as a result of the fracture, surgery, and "ankle hardware." After 14 weeks with Midtown Yoga, my orthopedic PA stated, "Your X-rays look amazing, you are 6-8 weeks 'ahead' in your mobility, and (smiling) you CANNOT QUIT yoga." So very grateful I "gave yoga a try" at Midtown!

Joss has been my instructor for almost a year now, and I love his classes. I've definitely noticed improvements in my posture and stress levels. He'll make you work, though!

I have been practicing with Joss at Midtown Yoga for months now and I couldn't be more pleased. The atmosphere is very comfortable and as a beginner, I really appreciate that! The class schedule works really well with my schedule which is great, but one of my favorite things is how Joss leads the classes. There aren't necessarily "beginner" or "advanced" classes. Instead, as he goes through the class, he shows you how to modify it to make it either more or less challenging, depending on your need / ability.
