Trosper Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal golf course open to the general public. Although options are limited in the area, it is considered a fun and challenging track with plenty of difficulty. The course features level changes and dog-legs, requiring precise shot placement. Facilities include a driving range with a debit machine, a chipping area, and two small putting greens. The greens are described as nice and fast, and the overall course condition is excellent, with the tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in great shape. The maintenance crew is praised for their work, and recent landscaping near the tee boxes has been well-received. New golf carts with USB plugs are available, enhancing the overall experience. The course is often busy, with a typical 4-hour pace of play, though the lack of a marshal can lead to slower rounds due to groups stacking up on the first tee. While the opening hole and third hole can cause some backups, the course is considered one of the better courses in the mid-Del area and is regarded as the best in the Oklahoma City area, surpassing the Hefner courses, EarlyWine, and Lincoln in terms of quality and friendliness for average golfers. The high price tag of around $50 for a Saturday round is justified by the excellent condition, value provided, and the impressive customer service from the staff, who go above and beyond to assist golfers.
