“I stopped in the shop while I was visiting Oklahoma City to see if they could squeeze me in for a couple of tattoos. Coming from New York, I didn’t know anything about any of the local tattoo shops, and relied on Google Maps for recommendations. As soon as I walked into the shop, I knew this was the place that I wanted to get the work done. Everyone there was super friendly and the shop was absolutely immaculate. I had an appointment scheduled with Bryan, who is excellent at American traditional tattoos and really appreciates that style. When I went in for the appointment, he already had a few designs marked up for me and helped me figure out the best placement for them. I asked him to do a couple of small changes, and he did so happily. I was there for maybe three or four hours, and it was a very comfortable experience. Sometimes when you get tattoos done, there’s a lot of silence, but not here! I chatted with Bryan and the shop owner and it was an all-around great experience. The tattoos came out fantastic and, a week later, they are healing perfectly and look super crisp! I’ve had several friends and coworkers back here in New York already comment on how great they look and how excellent the line work is. I have to give the shop extra points for tagging themselves in Google as being an LGBTQ friendly business. Coming from out of state, and being in an unknown city, this really sets you apart and indicates to people (LGBTQ-identifying or not) that anyone is welcome and can feel comfortable in your business. Although there were a couple of other shops that had very good reviews overall, this is truly what set Black Magic apart from the others and made me decide to get my tattoos done here. So in all aspects - quality of work, cleanliness, fair pricing, and overall positive and friendly atmosphere – I can recommend this shop without hesitation and will come back for some more ink the next time I find myself in Oklahoma.“

“I love this place! I’ve gotten my eyebrow(twice), my septum, and my nostril here. I’ve brought multiple friends who’ve gotten lobes, nostril, navel, septum, industrial, and a tattoo here as well. They are straight to the point, very informative, and get you in and out. All the reviews that say they have poor customer service are just sensitive because they aren’t an extremely bubbly staff.
