I have recently retired after 30+ years in higher education and needed some guidance about investing in retirement. I also had employer contributions in two separate accounts and wasn’t sure how best to move forward. Staton Financial Group met with me for almost 2 hours prior to my retirement to receive an overall view of our financial picture and then again to establish a plan forward. Seem to be very knowledgeable of what is available and how to best take advantage of it. Came up with a better plan than I was able to do. However, after just under 3 weeks there appears to be some difficulty with the execution of the plan. In their defense the problem looks to be with the company they chose to work with. Time will tell! Just received word that the problem is not with them or the other company. It appears that my wife’s SSN has been reported connected to a deceased person. Staton Financial staff have the knowledge and experience as a fiduciary money manager. I know very little about the subject, but my easy going advisor made my feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend that you give them a call.
