“After a Google search, I called Jafar. He told me what I needed to know and I brought a coat to him to shorten the sleeves. His store is a bit rough on the outside in an older location- but very welcoming on the inside. He asked for 2 hours. I thought he would turn the hem under and sew together. Instead, he removed the buttons, split the seam and made the sleeve look exactly like it did originally. It was a beautiful job. I paid him 25 & tip. 1000% happy. He also pressed the coat and had it hanging when I arrived. Will definitely use again. Thank you Jafar.“

It did cost I think $20 more than she quoted due to her taking extra steps to ensure it was sturdier this time and I didn’t mind paying more for it. I could see the time she took in making sure it wouldn’t break again. I also took a leather backpack to her to see about replacing the broken zipper and she just fixed it for me for free and added a few stitches to reinforce it so it shouldn’t come off track again. I appreciate the owner’s attention to detail and taking that initiative to repair things right the first time! She may not be the cheapest but the quality of her work is worth it! Will be back!!“
