About Oklahoma Athletic Center

The Lighthouse is a top athletic performance training facility that offers various amenities, including an indoor 40-yard turf, personal training, upgraded locker rooms, and indoor pools. The gym features large functional and crossfit areas, machines for serious athletes, and clean facilities. It also has basketball and beach volleyball courts, and a welcoming, friendly staff. Members appreciate the great pools and sauna, although some note that the sauna wasn’t hot, the steam room wasn’t working, and the hot tub was only warm. The turf is highly praised as the best part of the gym. The facility provides a generous 3-day free pass for new members to try out the equipment and atmosphere. Some users mention that the locker rooms and showers need improvement, with lockers not working and mold in the showers. The pool has non-working lights and no lane markings, which can be dangerous. Additionally, the facility can get hot during special events like tournaments, and air conditioning is limited. Despite these issues, the management is working to improve the facility, and members remain positive about the community, helpful staff, and overall experience.

This gym feels brand new after the recent renovations, and the upgrades are seriously impressive. The new management has clearly put a lot of thought into the improvements—from the modernized equipment to awesome new amenities like the golf simulator and expanded recovery options. Everything feels cleaner, more organized, and more intentional than before. You can tell the new team is invested in creating a high-quality experience, and it really shows. Easily one of the best gyms around now!

**Edited from initial 1 star-- Although the incident was frustrating, it is important how a business/owner responds. It was a quick response, addressed the situation, and took accountability. See below.**

The basketball gym was booked by a buddy for 7-830 am on a Saturday. The doors were not opened until 745. There were other groups that had rented courts from the number of cars in the parking lot. Several people ended up leaving after waiting 15-20 minutes though. This is ridiculous for a club that is supposed to be high end. Fees were higher than other gyms- recommend going to the Hive instead. Better pricing and service but unfortunately was booked out.

I’m not really sure what happened to this gym. I know there’s been a new owner. I know they’ve redesigned the interior. I know they’ve repainted like 20 times.

It’s a ghost town. Everyone left for Crunch. What used to be a bustling gym with HIIT and cycling classes is now a semi-lit gym that feels like it has maybe 50 total members.

Left are the promises of locker room renovations and all-inclusive fitness classes. Gone is the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Gone are the basketball games and outdoor volleyball.

For some reason the prices kept going up. I was a member for 8 years and I’m finally moving on, but I’ll miss the old OAC and Lighthouse.
