After 8 years, and as many pretty good electricians, none had actually resolved several annoying, chronic electrical problems here. Searching for an affordable, full-home, diagnostic electrician with solid reviews, I found Octavio, with Mr. Electric. Arriving two days later, Octavio listened and asked questions before conducting an impressively thorough safety check -- each room, the attic, outdoors, and the breaker box. Showing and telling me exactly what he'd discovered -- what was up to code and functioning properly, what was not -- he again answered questions and offered clear options for going forward. He then left, giving me time to think; I got back to him by the end of the day, and he arrived the next morning to address each issue we'd agreed upon. When done, he made certain I saw / understood exactly what had been done, and showed me how to conduct regular owner safety check-ups. It's now been awhile. Chronic problems, including brief power losses during thunder storms, are gone. Less visible issues with potential for serious future trouble have been dealt with.
