I would consider myself a very picky person when it comes to my hair...an over explainer of what I want, etc. I have mature post menopausal fine hair. I found her through the KEVIN MURPHY line she sells in her salon. When I picked up my product from her, I also had a mini consult on my hair, its texture and the style I was looking for. She was patient and listened to my concerned and explained how she could help. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE TWO HAIRCUTS I RECEIVED FROM KAYLA. They are versatile styles where I can wear my part on either side of head and either have my hair curled or straight. I think her in-home salon in OKC is a great set-up for our appointments without the interruptions you can find in a busy salon. She is an excellent educator of how to use KM products. I have been a long time user of KM but am happy she will use products during my appointment so I am getting the full benefit of how to use them. She gives great tips & tricks on using KM products and has specials on KM products from time to time which I appreciate. I love that I can walk out of appointment and be happy with the cut, style and the movement of my hair from day 1. I know she splits her time between OKC and Little Rock but at this point I would literally drive to LR if I had. If you are looking for someone who will really listen to your end goal for how you want your hair, make recommendations based on your hair texture/density and face shape, and actually use the product they sell in the salon while doing your hair, then I highly recommend you schedule an appointment w/ Kayla at Shear Balance Salon.“

“Sofie is absolutely amazing!! I have a hard time with letting people do my hair because of past bad, and botched experiences, not here, at other salons in the metro. However, Sofie made me feel welcome, comfortable and cared for! I cut my extremely long hair and had it colored. She cut it the perfect length just as I asked. I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she matched it perfectly. My hair color is exactly like the picture. She worked efficiently and we didn't feel rushed. “Pictures don’t do justification on how well Erin done on my hair. I had originally went to another stylist at another salon and was very upset with the results of my hair. I needed it fixed and was referred to Erin. Let me say, she did not disappoint. I got exactly the look I was going for, based on a picture. She matched the colors up exactly and gave me the look I was trying to achieve. Most importantly, fixed what the other stylist “messed up.” 10/10 recommend. If I could give 10 stars I would. I will no longer let anyone else touch my hair. It looks AMAZING!“
