I’m a 9 handicap and in almost 40 years of golf never got fitted to a putter. I’ve always struggled on the greens. After getting fit for all my clubs this year I finally decided to get fit for a putter. I visited the location in Chandler Arizona and spent an hour with Charlie Million. I never thought possible to get so much data about how I was putting. After an hour of going through the process, I settled on the model that best fits my height and stroke. It turns out the putter I’ve been using for years is the polar opposite of what actually fits me properly. Houston and Bobby took me me from a scratch golfer to +4 National…..from the tips. If you want to go low these are they guys. Went from Titleist to Mizuno and never took back. Nothing feels like a Mizuno.
I had a great club fitting with Club Champion. But here is what you will get and won't get:
1) They will custom fit every part of the golf club--club heads, club shafts, and grips;
2) This makes your clubs VERY expensive;
3) I was told my clubs would be in 2-3 weeks--they were in the store 6 weeks later;
4) The follow up was non-existent--for the amount of money they charge, you would think you would get excellent customer service--but you would be wrong!
Overall I was very happy with the clubs and the fitting--just very disappointed in the lack of customer service provided.
