Was on a road trip though Norman on the way west and stopped to get a couple sets of strings. Oddly, I got great, thought out recommendations. Usually guitar stores just let you browse and buy strings without input. While we were in there I scanned the acoustics... Laid eyes on an Hummingbird Rosewood, which I had never seen, and gave it a couple minutes... Then bought the strings and went on.
On the way back through the other way a week later I was compelled to drop in again to see that guitar... She sounded nice! I spoke for a couple minutes with Evan Pettit who is, I think, the manager. We had a brief negotiation and I walked out with a really nice guitar at a fair... read full review

This is the best music store to go to, staff is the nicest I’ve ever seen, everyone is helpful, and very patient with newcomers, they answer questions in a way that anyone can understand.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Scott was amazing. He had all the violins ready for testing before we got to the store. He left us try them out for about 45 minutes with 3 different bows.Beyond anything else, he gave us a really good deal on the violin so it would fall within my budget. I'm pretty sure that he didn't earn a lot of profit on the violin he sold us. For that he's earned my respect and made me a permanent customer for as long as he's at that store.Thank you Scott.
