“My kid got to wear his Halloween costume to school and some kid ripped off a piece of his costume, leaving a huge hole and ruining the costume. He was devastated, and a couple of hours from trick or treat! I called J&M tailors and spoke to a young man who's name I cannot remember at this moment but he was so nice. He informed me they close in less than an hour to which I desperately said I'm 15 min away, please, it didn't have to be a pretty fix just enough to get my kid his costume. He put me on hold for the owner, Jafar. He told me to come on in and he would fix it. After doing some not so legal speeds we get there, with my kid crying in the car. I went in, showed him the damage and told him to just do what he could. He took it to the back and fixed it within 10 min! This almost brought me to tears because no one likes to see their kid upset or let down and this was the last costume we could find in his size of what he wanted. Jafar was awesome and I'm so grateful they did this before closing for us, many businesses could have just said no, it's past our cut off time for walkins. Highly recommend these guys, WILL be back for some other not so emergent repairs in the future. My kid was amazed and said it looked like new! Thank you guys.“

“I first found this gem of a shop several years ago. I had a bridesmaid dress emergency. The one I ordered for myself came in too small, now you can imagine the panic because there wasn’t time to re order. I walked in and told her what I needed (not feeling hopeful) but she said she could do it and it would be done way faster than I thought possible. I showed up to get the dress and was still feeling skeptical because I could imagine how she would be able to fix it but she did and it was amazing!
It’s one thing to take something in but to be able to make something bigger is an entirely different skill set- she did it and it was flawless. Since that time I have went in for various alterations for myself, my husband, our small child and even now our not so small child :) I highly recommend her!“
