Heavener Transfer Station/Dump

We were shocked when we moved to Eastern Oklahoma and found out there are not one, but two transfer stations available to us. Eric at the Heavener station and the guys at the Poteau station are always helpful and courteous.
We appreciate the service being available at all, but free to residents! Wow.

Love the guy whom works it! He sets things he thinks someone might need aside. He also calls people if they need something that has been dumped. Only thing i really dislike is days n hours of operation have been shotty to say least. I dont understand why its not open mon-fri

This place is a big perk for living in our area. Lots of folks do not have a place to dump their trash, and certainly not for free. The attendant is of the old school kind that takes pride in doing a job right.
