We cannot say enough wonderful things about Waterloo Animal Hospital and Dr. Park. During one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced, Dr. Park took the most amazing, compassionate care of our sweet baby Thor.
From the moment we walked in, we felt heard, supported, and truly cared for. Dr. Park treated Thor with so much kindness, gentleness, and respect, and took the time to explain everything with patience and empathy. What a blessing to have this place so close to our home! 12 years ago we brought our little yellow Lab puppy here, and 8 years later we brought his little chocolate sister here. Excellent care and wonderful people! This month Dr. Park and Dr. Richter were the epitome of compassion and care as we said goodbye to that sweet old boy.
Last week our chocolate Lab became a big sister to a little 9-week old yellow chaos potato. I know Waterloo Animal Hospital will be providing excellent care to him for years to come! (November 2025)

Can't say enough great things about this place. Dr Park took the time to explain to us what we needed and made sure our baby girl's care was complete and affordable. We rescue dogs and treatment gets very expensive for a house with multiples. Dr. Park was kind and patient, and did not make us feel guilty for waiting to bring in our dog and her tumor. We had taken her to another vet previously who wouldn't even consider anything until we ran over 4k worth of diagnostic testing. We simply could not afford that and felt like we would have to put our sweet Candy girl to sleep. But Dr. Park saved her life and removed her mass the very next day. Thank... read full review
