It’s about time I post a review. I’ve been a patient here for 20 years. George is the most personable, and kind man. He’s not only an incredible physician but a kind and caring person. He has always graciously had conversations with me outside of the subject of my eyes. And never have they fallen on deaf ears. He gets to know his patients as people not just a chart and it shows. His receptionist/office manager Kristi has been there the same length of time and is equally as wonderful. I know when I visit that I’m well taken care of and I leave every time wishing that there wasn’t a year between appointments. This place is the best.

The previous commenter was spot on, the front desk employees are as friendly as the IRS. Don’t bother calling unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience. Spoiler Alert: they are not accepting new patients or kindness.

I've been going to him for close, if not, 10 years. Dr Shields is the friendliest person but his staff is the total opposite and I finally had to find another Dr. For a long time his personality made up for their bad one.

Been going to Dr. Shields for 5 years now. He is friendly and straightforward. The office staff is friendly as well. My appointments are never drawn out and I usually don't have to wait that long! Highly recommend!
