“I wanted (needed) to get my lashes done before my family’s trip to Cancun, and looked for studios that were reasonably close to my home. The studio is in a super convenient area, with plenty of parking, and they offer plenty of appointment booking options. My lash tech Lyric was amazing, and is truly a gifted esthetician. She helped pick a good length and style of lashes, that were perfect for the look I wanted. She also made a two- hour appointment feel like minutes, because she was personable and very easy to talk to. I wanted to wait to leave my review until I returned from my trip to Cancun. My lashes felt plenty of salt water from the ocean, chlorine water from the pool, and steady wind from riding a jet ski, and they are still full and gorgeous.“

“Lash Lift and Tint with Morgan—

I have never gotten my lashes done before, no extensions or anything like that, so this was my first experience with having a service like this done. As far as the final result, I am super thrilled — I don’t have to wear mascara now on days when I don’t want to do makeup (my lashes are liiiiight), and the lift looks natural and very pretty. Can’t say enough good things about the final product. The whole salon was clean and vibey, calm but upbeat, and the energy was great.

As far as the service goes, again, this was my first time doing a service like this (at age 31 lol) — I knew to expect my eyes to be closed for some time, and I knew that it would take time to process the steps of the service on my lashes, but what I absolutely did NOT expect was that my poor little brain and body would start to feel some *major* anxiety during the appointment. Never having a service like that done before, I didn’t realize how anxiety-inducing it would be to have my eyes taped shut or to have to be in one spot for an extended time, and I got noticeably fidgety and jittery and heart-racey.

Morgan, my tech, was TRULY outstanding throughout the entire experience. She was gracious and patient and calm, she listened to me and noticed the cues of anxiety that were coming from me even if I wasn’t vocalizing them. I didn’t detect any judgement from her whatsoever which also genuinely helped keep me calm and tear-free. She kept her voice low and kind throughout. She had a stress ball that she offered, and she started asking me questions to keep my brain occupied. She also offered a blanket in case that would help me, and she kept giving me info on how much longer each step would take — “only 10 minutes on this one” or “30 seconds left on this step” when I was getting very antsy at one point. She even once paused between steps verrrry briefly to get my lashes into a spot where I was able to open my eyes for a couple seconds before we moved onto the next step, and that helped tremendously.

Knowing what I know now, I would definitely go back for a tint without a second thought. For a lift (for me personally), I would request maybe only one eye being taped at a time if that’s possible, and if not, just stick with tints.

Morgan was efficient, accommodating, and very sweet throughout the entire appointment, she helped me work through the very unexpected anxiety attack, and STILL got me looking fabulous, natural, and fixed up by the end.
