Difficult review for me to give but necessary. I have been coming to Dr Reid for 12 yrs. I recently tried to get into see him for a reddened tender area that suddenly popped up on the gum of one of my upper molars. He was not available so I saw his partner who dismissed it as a canker sore. I was insistent that it was not a canker sore but nonetheless was told to call them back if it got worse. A couple of weeks go by and the red swollen area turned into what looked like a pimple. This time I was able to get into Dr. Reid who immediately determined it was a fistula (abscess). After going to an endodontist, it turns out the molar had a fractured root most likely caused from an instrument that got broke off in my canal during a root canal procedure about 20 yrs ago. Dr. Reid had put a new crown on this tooth not too long ago. The consensus was the tooth needed to be extracted so they referred me to oral surgeon where it was pulled and bone graft material was placed. After allowing about 3 months for it to heal I came in to Dr Reid to have it examined- he told me everything looked good and said they would get the surgical post ordered to start the implant process and said they would call me in a few days once it came in. I received a call a few days later from the front desk that Dr. Reid had decided it would be best to have the oral surgeon do the procedure since I had questions. Mind you the only questions I had was explaining the process to me which is perfectly normal and to be expected for somebody who’s getting their first implant. I tried to ask the receptionist why Dr. Reid had suddenly done a 360 on being able to do the implant for me because I had already set up financing through Cherry for the portion that insurance does not cover. She just quickly tried to rush me off the phone and obviously didn’t care. I later called back to let them know. I was not gonna proceed with letting the oral surgeon do the procedure because they could not honor the plan I had set up with Cherry. Again, she didn’t seem to care and just wanted to get me off the phone. I don’t know why Dr Reid looked at my 3-D scans and was comfortable doing the procedure and let me believe they were gonna call me when the material came in and then all of a sudden backed out. I think this was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Especially to a loyal customer who had been coming to him for over 10 years. Very disappointed. Obviously, they have enough business now they can pick and choose who they see and what they want to do. It’s sad that they didn’t feel like they owe me an honest explanation. Not sure if they didn’t like my current insurance or what but it’s clear I am no longer a valued customer and it’s sad that integrity is no longer a priority in their practice. Now I have to start all over again and find a new dentist. Shame on you-the customer doesn’t have any control over how much insurance pays you and that should never be a factor in deciding to go back on your word after you’ve told the patient you would get everything ordered. 👎👎

Absolutely the best place both dentists are excellent the staff is so nice & helpful I just got 3 crowns on did not hurt at all numbed it good for the 1st round I got the payment plan they had for 18 months 0% interest I would recommend them to anyone nice to have great dentists in coweta.

Went in for my teeth cleaning appointment. I was shown in promptly. My hygienist Brooklyn was fantastic. She explained everything as she went along. Very friendly and professional. The front desk staff was also very welcoming. I highly recommend Premier Dental Coweta for all your dental nee
