“While waiting for my wife to finish her doctor appointment, i drove past a small strip center at the corner of 131st Street and Elm Place. I noticed a Barber Shop (Indian Springs), and I needed a haircut, so I went in. My first impression was great. This isn't your run of the mill barber shop. The ambience is out of the 50's, and to me that is a good thing. It's run by Father and Son, and the atmosphere is very friendly. While waiting I joined a conversation on Football, baseball, and the general state of things these days. All the conversation is pleasant. both with those sitting in chairs waiting to get their haircut, or those who likely dropped in for the conversation. The walls are plastered with memorabilia. The ambience is very pleasant and, well, just comfortable. And the haircuts are great. All the details are covered: trimmed my eyebrows, ears, a pleasant cream/razor shave of my neck. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend.“

“Senior ladies Foodie Miss Mary here and yes they use old fashioned rollers with old fashion hair dryers and can back comb your hair. For all those daughters with mothers that need this I highly recommend them! Call Arin, but mist of the others can do it as well. She does my moms hair, mine, and my special needs son who requires a beard shave every month. Tell her that Miss Mary sent you. P.s. Arin's mom work there as well.“

They’ve all been fun to chat with I just don’t like to make an appointment to cut my hair because I always do it on a whim. Everyone’s is always pleasant and I’ve never had a bad haircut from any of the wonder lady’s up there:D“

“Check in online, which usually works well and makes for a short wait. Stylists are friendly. My cut is simple so they really can't mess it up, and they don't. Its not expensive which is important to me since I'm in every two weeks. Not every stylist can be the best ever, but I've only had one cut I could complain about and that stylist was not around anymore next time I came in. I've had some really great cuts here but I don't request a particular stylist because I want to make sure they all get to stay busy, but you could request a certain stylist if you wanted to. They carry Mitchell product which is really great. If you like a good hold without it being hard or shiny I recommend Mitchell Material. If you want to go pay 40-50 for a cut, go for it, but I did that for a while and it simply wasn't worth the extra money.“
