I have worked for homeinstead for 1.5 years I often hear “I could never do your job” While it’s not “easy” everyday, it is by far the best and most rewarding experience. The hardest thing my clients have to deal with is not being able to do the normal day to day activities on their own. How lucky am I that I can help them by being their hands, eyes, legs, driver. I have learned so much from every single person I have encountered. I AM a better person for knowing them. I can officially make the best pie crust ever thanks to my client and her daughters teaching me their “secret family recipe” and showing me how to do it! I have a green thumb thanks to another client teaching me all she knows. While I was her hands. I’ve learned how to arranged flowers, garden, weed whack, not to mention all the other stuff I learned in training from homeinstead. The hardest part for me is losing a friend, my family. This week is especially hard. I love all my clients. I can’t even begin to describe how much I love them.
