This is an old-school barber shop. No sissy boys in tight jeans. Just an old timer cutting hair.

Sadly, places like this are going the way of the dodo bird. When he hangs up the scissors, all we will have left is a bunch of metro boys with frosted tips.

And by the way, he also splits firewood and sells it. He's nearly 80, putting in more work than most 20 year old these days.

This guy is so nice and values his customers, very simplistic barber shop. He is a great guy to talk to, very kind to all, both me and my dad have been going there for almost 15 years my dad has been going ever since he was a kid and he is 52(he got his first hair cut here) He has a couple antique items that are neat to look at. He also has a TV to watch while getting your haircut. The shop is very clean and organized, only complaint is that you have to go downstairs to go downstairs, I really don't mind it but others might. This barber shop is mostly for men and boys. This is my number one barber in the area!

Mr Swope has been cutting my family's hair since the 1950s. He knows his business. It will be 4 generations soon that will be going here. The best combination of quality and price.
