Tom started climbing in 1990 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and started Trapper’s Tree Service there in 1995. He then moved to Columbus in 2000 to continue his education and expand his career. Tom is a 2009 Honor Roll Graduate from Franklin University, having majored in Business Administration (focus in Forensic Accounting), and minored in Marketing (focus in Sociology), Tom has applied his education to the stability and growth of the company. Since that time Tom has become an Certified Arborist, is an apprenticed Consulting Arborist under the late Dave Snyder, and is one of the first Tree Risk Assessment Certified Arborists in the State of Ohio, Qualified through the International Society of Arboriculture. Tom continues to live here in Columbus.
Trapper's Tree Service provided prompt and excellent service. They came out for an emergency call during a wind storm to remove a tree. Our tree started to fall and was on the edge of falling and damaging our property. Trappers came out within an hour or two to remove it before it fell and caused damage to the property. Had a massive tree fall in my back yard and crushed my shed. Trappers tree service were out here in one hour of calling them. Within 4 hours they had their equipment here and started working. They were extremely helpful in dealing with the insurance company as well. They even helped me save some items from the shed. Extremely knowledgeable, great service, great communication. I highly recommend you give these guys a call first for any tree service work.
