Pertee Monument is a fine family business to work with. Customers are very pleased with the service and the hands-on consultation. The staff is caring and helpful, making the experience easier than expected. They helped design a headstone, a beautiful Welcome stone with three crosses, and stones with grand kids' names for landscaping. They also cleaned a parents' headstone that had black stuff and scratches, making it look like new. The cleaning worked fantastic. For cemetery stones, they went above all expectations with great customer service. They coordinated between family members in different states, contacted the cemetery to ensure perfect cement foundations, and met the expected installation. They even traveled outside their normal area of service and did repair and restoration on a monument from the 1960s. Everything came out great. Highly recommend working with this family for all cemetery monument needs.
Both my parents died 4 months apart in 2025. I met Jim, the owner on a weekend and bought their headstone then. It took over 1 year for me to be mentally ready to figure out when and what I needed on the stone. Nicki, Jim's daughter walked me through the entire process, at my pace. It's such a final thing to do as I went through my grieving process, Nicki knew how fast or how slow I wanted to go. Whomever actually did the engraving did such an awsome job! Thank you. What a fine family bissness to work with. We are very pleased with the service and the hands on consultation. We had stones with all the grand kids names on them for Christmas for in the landscaping. They love them. We had a beautiful Welcome stone made with three crosses for the front steps and our Head stone that we designed, with their help.And a small head stone for my sister. We have sent many friends there. We will be stopping in later this year to have a stone made for my wife's brother.
