“I first went to another dry cleaners in Dublin and asked if they could fix a zipper on a bee suit. My hobby is beekeeping. The zipper broke off and it's a must when dealing with thousands of bees. I must have circled the area six times until I saw a woman come out with what looked to be a clothes bag. I walked in and there it was. “I’ve had some poor experiences with previous tailors, so didn’t have high hopes when I came in for a suit alteration. CoT was able to fix a poor alteration on my jacket on a pretty short time crunch, and was very open from the beginning about what could/could not be fixed. While it might not be the cheapest, she is very understanding and clearly good at what she does. I would absolutely recommend her work, and will definitely be coming back for my next alteration.“

The Good News is that I have found Hill’s Alterations on W Broad Street. They do Great Work. I had a dress hemmed for a Fraction of the cost … about 75% less ?.

The owner of Hill’s Alterations reminds me of my Mom … my Mom would have us stand on a chair, she would ask us “how long do you want the pants, skirt, dress etc. She would put ONE straight pin in the garment and tell us okay … get down, take it off. And the pants, skirt, dress etc. would be hemmed PERFECTLY !!!

Do you need something altered?? Follow my advice for a fraction of the cost. NEVER, EVER AGAIN spend $100.00 to have a garment hemmed.“
