I had to book an emergency same day appointment yesterday July 16th. I called when they opened at 8:00 am, the receptionist put me on hold to find out which doctor would be best to treat my condition, they had an opening at 1:40. Everybody was friendly and engaging, the receptionist and techs were both kind and explained things clearly. For example, where the waiting room was, and how to take the medicine, also book follow up appt. Dr Harooni was great and relieved my fear about my eye healing and made sure the drops I was prescribed didn't have Neomycin, because I am allergic to it. I was a new patient, but I am in the Promedica system.

Dr. Shah is extremely knowledgeable as a specialist and yet can explain medical/vision issues in very simple terms so patients readily understand. No matter how busy the office is, he always takes his time and answers all of your questions. Moreover, he’s affable and genuinely concerned about your health. I highly recommend Dr. Shah, whom I’ve been seeing in Toledo for approximately 3 years.Additionally, Vision Associates’ new facility is beautiful and has a comforting ambience, plus the staff (and Dr. Schlagheck) are very welcoming.

Dr..Schlagheck is thorough and efficient and a has a very nice demeanor. Shes easy to relate to and very professional. The entire process takes a long time. I know there are a lot of tests, but it is a lengthy appointment. But I feel like I got a very thorough examination.
