Wait was of reasonable time at one hour. Providers were courteous. Referred to podiatrist that didn't agree with the diagnosis, but i did get relief from concern about condition and advice for care over weekend.
Check-in was efficient because I have a Pro-medica account. I was seen within ten minutes of arriving. The PA was friendly, inquisitive, sensitive, and knowledgeable. She diagnosed my complaint very quickly, offered testing to confirm, called in a prescription, and had me out the door in fifteen minutes. Now, that's what I call urgent care.
My diagnosis was correct (fracture at baby finger), however when the splint was put on, it was not correct. I was given a right hand splint for a left hand fracture and it was an extra large when I needed a large. Only after going to the orthopedic surgeon did I find out why I was having such discomfort while waiting three days to see him.
Should insurance try to have me pay for incorrect one, I’ll be sending the payment request to you.
