Owens Corning's park offers a peaceful and scenic escape, with a waterfront pathway leading to a lush field of wildflowers and grasses. The area boasts a soccer field, a patch of Elm trees, and a swarm of swallows, providing a beautiful setting for leisurely walks or picnics. The business facility itself is described as clean, welcoming, and comfortable, with a local canteen and Starbucks, making it a great place to work and conduct business trips. Visitors are advised to bring their ID when checking in. While the building and its amenities are praised, the strict no-smoking policy, including vaping, is noted as a potential inconvenience.
Owen Corning's park is what we visited. We did not visit the interior. On this Sunday the park was practically abandoned. Perfect for me! The waterfront pathway leads into a lush field of wildflowers and grasses. A beautiful place to walk leisurely or picnic. At the end of the trails there is a soccer field lot and a great perspective of that big blue bridge. This area also holds a patch of Elm trees in fantastic condition and a swarm of magnetic swallows. It was honestly astonishing how many were flying around us. Really nice place to walk.
It's a beautiful building what can I say. Cafe and and lunch market. But no smoking on premises whatsoever, not even vaping which is a bit annoying. View of the river etc etc etc.
Owens Corning was on top years ago back in the early 1980's. They slipped up and wandered around. Now they are back with lots of colors and shading. They got out early with the Weatherguard on impact resistant roofing. Their ridges are real nice. The Surenail technology is pretty stunning. But the new selection of colors makes Owens Corning a great place to select a roof for your home or business. Plus their contractor program and enhanced warranties protect the consumer from bad roofers and roofing products like no other roof manufacturer.
