About Dasher Family Eye Care
Dasher Family Eye Care offers fast and friendly service, making it the preferred eye care provider for many families. The office is clean and well-maintained, and patients appreciate the thoroughness of the eye exams provided by Dr. Dasher. However, there are concerns regarding the office's ability to handle special needs children, particularly those on the autism spectrum. One parent reported a frustrating experience while trying to help their neurodivergent child learn to wear contacts. They felt the specialist was not understanding or accommodating, which led to increased anxiety for the child during the appointment. While the eye exams receive positive feedback, there is dissatisfaction with the glasses provided and a perceived lack of concern from the staff regarding this issue. Overall, while Dasher Family Eye Care is praised for its eye exams and friendly service, there is a significant need for improvement in how they support children with special needs and address concerns about eyewear. Parents are encouraged to advocate for their children during appointments, as communication and understanding are crucial for a successful experience.

My teen was incredibly interested in trying contacts as he does not like the way his glasses feel on his face (sensory).
The first session; The specialist attempted to teach him how to wear contacts and the session was a fail. (I was not there so I cannot comment...read full review

Was very happy with Dr Dasher and the eye exam. Was not happy with the glasses that I received and the office staff did not seem concerned. I would get my eye exam here again but I would absolutely get my glasses somewhere else.
