I have mental health issues, so usually, I hate classes, especially in person, but I decided to try in-person classes at 911 Driving School. I was nervous and had my fair share of hardships, but I powered through. The students were surprisingly kind. I was worried I would get bullied or out of place- but nope! Also, the staff were very kind. They listened to me when I had a bad day and helped me get through it. Plus they are very lenient on work/tests to everyone but still help students learn. It would be really hard to fail their classes. Like really hard, because they're good. It's a good place, so give it a shot. The teachers are relatable and kind. They're also not the type of people who don't force a bunch of lessons and extra time. They want us to be happy AND learn. They're cool. My only complaint is that we can't sleep in their classes (which makes complete sense 😭). It challenged me in a good way, though! I have bad attendance (1-3 times a week of school) but I managed to go every day that the Driver's Ed took place. It was a nice environment.

This is a great driving school, but it is not convenient. It took 4 months for my daughter to complete the program. The in cars end at the school, even though we live 5 miles away and I often had to leave work early to accomodate the almost 2 months worth of classes, then another 8 in-cars over the last 2 months. Not convenient at all. That being said, they do a great job. Krystal was our favorite driving instructor. My daughter is a very good, safe driver and she passed her drivers test in my Chevy Traverse on the 1st try. This makes it all worth it!

Have had 2 daughters go through 911 Driving and plan to send my 3rd there too. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional as well as kind, understanding and very organized. They are 100% recommended

We have had three children go through the 911 program in the past year and the money spent was well worth it. One of our children did the online class and the other two did the in-person, all of which were great. They helped with scheduling, and made sure that the last in-car was shortly before the actual test. All three of our children scored 100% on their driving tests which I know they could not have done without the 911 driving staff.

As a high school student, I fully paid for and arranged my drivers education through 911, the instructors are fantastic and are incredibly knowledgeable. Some people are posting about the length of time it takes to complete the program, after completing my 24 hours of online class instruction, I was able to schedule all 8 of my in cars within a one month frame from completion of the online. All it took was constant refreshing of the scheduling page over a two day period, and since it's the summer, every other drivers educational institution is booked full. This school is perfect if you're looking to complete your drivers Ed faster than the competition, especially during the summer, and with competent instructors who have experience in the police force. The preparation they give for the maneuverability test cannot be beaten! Shout-out to their secretary Marie, she does an awesome job of filling in cancellations and such.

Both children took 911 driving. My older one before Covid and my younger one after Covid. The older one took the in person classroom (online option was not available). The younger one opted for the online class (available since covid). Several things to know:If your kid is not good at scheduling themselves, just rip the band-aid off and take the in person classroom. That is scheduled and takes 6 wks to complete. The online class is not for procrastinators. The online class site only allows you to take the class for 4 hours per day and has built in required breaks. The online class site is very poor in indicating how far along you are in the program. I swear it took a week to go from 97% complete to 99% complete. It does NOT tell you how many hours you have left to complete the program which is frustrating, especially when you keep hounding your kid to ask if they are done.The 911 Driving school website is confusing as to how long you have to complete things because they have two different programs (the in person class and the online). - If you take the in person you have 6 weeks to complete it THEN 6 months to complete your drives.- If you take the online class you have 6 months to complete it THEN 6 months to complete your drives.Their site says "Students have six months to complete the classroom and drives portion. It will take you the whole six months." That implies you have to get it all done in 6 months and I had to call them to clarify. They need to reword their website.Like one reviewer said, you have a better chance at scoring Taylor Swift tickets than scheduling a drive. It was difficult when my oldest son did it and it hasn't changed with my youngest. Like Taylor Swift tickets, you have to sit at your computer all day with the web page up and hit refresh every so often on the hopes it will reload with availability. Then you have to snap up the time immediately before consulting your personal calendar or else it will be snagged out from under you. I got lucky one time when I hit refresh and was able to get 3 days. I felt like I won the lottery. The instructors have been very good. Both of my sons have like each person they got.Honestly scheduling drives is the poorest part about their whole program. I don't know how parents who have jobs where they can't be at a computer all day hitting refresh are able to schedule any drives. I don't know how they can fix their scheduling system. Maybe they have to limit the number of kids they allow to register. If you can't sit by the computer all day hitting refresh to try and get appointments, then you need to look for another company that has a better handle on scheduling.

While I understand other's frustrations with scheduling, I'll GLADLY check the website several times a day to book a driving lesson with an active duty police officer from my hometown rather than an irresponsible amateur from a high-turnover, 2-star driving school. We won't put a price (time or money) on our child's safety and competence behind the wheel. Besides, we've been able to book one in-car lesson per week since we started the program.
