Every part of my experience with Five Star was great! The salesman John, project manager Peyton, crew leader Arturo, and the entire crew were all completely professional and willing to work with us, like when we wanted a couple more rooms added to the project. Everything was done quickly and the results were fantastic, with colors looking solid throughout and the lines were sharp and they kept the floor clean too.

Five Star was GREAT from the get-go! John, who came to check it out and give me a price. I was able to call or text with the scheduler Peyton. They were able to get me scheduled when it worked for me. Then, followed up the week prior to make sure we were on track. Peyton and his crew arrived day 1 and did a walk thru and began. I had all walls, trim and doors painted and they did it in 4 days. The crew was awesome. They arrived when they said they would and left when they said each day. They really didn’t need anything from me. Very professional and did an awesome job. I could not be happier. Larry and Peyton came for my final walk-thru and were amazing. They were pleased that I am so pleased. Thank you 5 Star painting. I will see you again next time and will refer all my family and friends.

From the estimate to the finished product Five Star staff were friendly and professional. They took the time to answer our questions. These folks were on top of everything from the start. I was a freelance interior designer for 20 years. My standards are high. Everything went exactly as planned. They painted the 18’ high vaulted ceiling. They covered Everything! It looks beautiful! I definitely plan to use them again!

The price for painting my garage was higher than expected, but I figured that signing a insured company with near immediate availability would be worth the cost as I have wanted my garage to be painted for nearly a year and I really didn't want to do it myself. Unfortunately, I didn't have an extensive knowledge of drywall finishing to explicitly call out everything that I truly wanted at the end of the project. I assumed that my garage only needed sanded, primed and painted, but in fact there were some larger drywall seams that needed extra attention, which was not included in my quote. These imperfections are easily noticeable from even outside of the garage and as a perfectionist, they irritate me a good bit. I was also disappointed that the crew that showed up to my house didn't speak much, if any, English and the project manager did not make an appearance the day of the project to address any issues while the crew was on site. The project manager was easily available through texting while setting up the appointment, but on the day of the job he made plans to show up near the end of the day and ended up not showing without communication until the following day. The painting crew never informed me of the status of their work, leaved without notifying me at all, and left a significant amount of drywall dust in my garage to the extent that I spent over two hours cleaning and vacuuming drywall dust out of my garage before moving all of my possessions back inside. I still have a significant amount of drywall dust on the top of my garage door chain guides and on my garage doors as well, which I feel like could have been compensated in my final price. Overall, the painting coverage was acceptable and only one small spot was missed, which is difficult to see. My garage does look much better, but I don't believe the results accurately reflected the price that I paid.Services: Interior painting

Highly recommend. We had a couple companies come out to quote and they were by far the best price. They did an amazing job. TL;DR: Very unprofessional, very disorganized, lack of accountability, poor communication, promised more than they're able to deliver. They use "recycled" phone numbers compromising important personal data unapologetically. I had the unfortunate experience of hiring Five Star Painting to get my home market-ready. We are moving out of state and it is of utmost importance to us to hire a compay that is professional and has clear communication. When John came to out house to give us a quote he was amazing. Very friendly and patient, great salesman. He boasted about having a dedicated project manager to streamline communication and make it a care-free process. They sited the "neighborly network" guarantee and offered free window cleaning. We agreed to the quote and were excited to move forward. Fast forward to preparing for the job and it's been a mess. They would call and text me from multiple different numbers. When I tried to respond to them random people would answer, confused as to why I was contacting them. Even my personal information like my name, phone number, address, and move out date were leaked to strangers. This is disturbing and a security threat. When I confronted them about it they were defensive, talked over me and would not acknowledge the fault. I have yet to have any communication with the project manager other than a few scattered texts. When I brought up the free window cleaning promised they gave me the run around for over a week, pointing fingers at each other with dazed looks on their faces; I guess just hoping I'd give up and forget about it. The franchise owner, Larry, had very little to say when I shared my experience with him. I asked if he had any solutions to my frustrating experience. He said trust is hard to build after it's broken and he didn't care to try to mend the relationship. He, just like John, was quick to talk over me and deflect responsibility rather than apologizing, being accountable, or trying to find a solution. So now we are days from moving out of state and weeks from listing our house without a painting crew. I honestly feel relieved that I don't have to mess with self-righteous, disrespectful company anymore. Unless you have lots of time, money, and patience to give this mess of a company I'd look elsewhere.

John (Sales Lead) was very easy to work with to get everything set up. Came and did a couple walkthroughs with us to ensure we were all on the same page. Allen and Edwin (paint crew) were very professional, friendly, and respectful. I work from home and hardly noticed they were here. The work looks great, they even completed the job a day ahead of schedule. We would highly recommend these guys, and if anything comes up for us in the future, they’d be our first call.Services: Interior painting
