“This was my dentist since I was a child, and I had braces and my wisdom teeth pulled here in the past. I just recently moved back to the area after living out of state for 10 years. Since my time away, I have had some not great dental experiences with other dentists and I was very anxious to schedule a dental appointment. This was a pleasant experience from start to finish, just like I remember as a kid! From calling to schedule the appointment to the x-rays, cleaning, and the doctor's exam... everyone was friendly, kind, patient, and understanding. When I told my dental hygienist about my fears she took the time to listen to me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I walked out of there with a literal smile on my face feeling relieved and I will have zero trepidation when it is time to go back in 6 months! I 120% recommend this dental practice!“

“Dr. John Matta and his super staff (Lisa, Faith, Tammy, Kim, and Mary) at Refresh Dental (Boardman) are excellent, welcoming, and so friendly. I suffered with an extremely painful, badly cracked and infected tooth cut down to the jaw bone which needed extracted ASAP. Since my dentist had moved out of town, I had to search for a new dentist who would see me soon and also accept my insurance. Fortunately, I came across Dr. John Matta, and even though I had never been to this dentist office, the staff at Refresh Dental were caring and compassionate about my situation and scheduled me to see Dr. Matta immediately. When I first walked into the office I was very nervous but I instantly felt at ease because everyone greeted me with smile and such kindness and the office is spotless and inviting. Surprisingly before proceeding, Dr. Matta wanted to tell me a little about himself, describing his dental expertise and credentials, as well as his family. He listened carefully to all my questions and concerns and took the time to examine me carefully and to explain all planned procedures and options that would be necessary. He is very friendly and caring and his professionalism and candor put me at ease and made me feel confident in him as a Dental Surgeon. He is an excellent Dentist and I hardly felt any pain during my tooth extraction and bone graft. I have other procedures that need to be done soon - 2 crowns and a custom-fitted nightly mouth apparatus for sleeping, and I am very confident that they will be done with ease and just as successful as my first procedure. I highly recommend Dr. John Matta for all your dental needs at Refresh Dental in Boardman, and I'm confident that you will, too! Thank you Dr. Matta and Staff! “Dr styka was very friendly and caring.. He not only makes you comfortable but talks you threw what hes about to do.. He was prompt about tryn to alleviate my pain and didnt make me sit long at all.. The nurses are also just as friendly just as caring and is prompt about trying to do what they can to help you through the pain. I would definitely give Dr styka and his team a 10 out of 10. For the length of his career he will stay my dentist.“

“I would highly recommend Dr Nogay and her amazing staff! I was nervous about looking for a new dentist since our business switched insurance companies. Dr Johanna Nogay appeared in my "Network" and after seeing 236 five-star reviews I knew she was the one for me. I called and had an appointment the following day! Lori gave me the most thorough cleaning I've ever had in my life. She addressed issues with a missing tooth and offered a solution that I didn't even know was possible! After my cleaning Dr Nogay examined my teeth, but she didn't stop there like most other dentists do, she examined my jaw, bite, lymph nodes, inside of my mouth and even examined my tongue. No dentist has ever done that before! I was so impressed with the professionalism, the attention to detail and kindness that I experienced today from Dr Nogay, her tech Lori, and her entire staff! Going back in a couple weeks for more work and actually looking forward to it! And the cherry on top... They're all animal lovers! I love this place!!“
“We've been taking our girls here for about 2-3 years. My youngest daughter was petrified of the dentist because of bad experiences at Jamboree Dental. This place is so welcoming and great with kids. Despite that I now have to pay in full(which is sometimes tuff, but it's on me not the dentist), because of stuff going on I had to focus on that and forgot to pay a bill for them. They normally don't let people come back, but thankful they let us. My youngest now gets upset if you don't schedule her dentist appointment first. Thank you for doing this!“

“Wonderful staff all around and Dr. Ausnehmer is very kind. The building is very clean and tidy. I've been three times so far. They first visit was for a check up and cleaning where they found a cavity. The cleaning was perfect and everyone was nice. I came back for a second visit to have the cavity worked on and it was completely painless experience all around. The tool they used to inject numbing cream works in a way so that you barely feel it go into your gums, if at all. From my understanding, not every dentist has this tool. Regardless, it was incredibly quick and 100% pain free.I just went again today for my third time. They were incredibly safe with the Covid-19 situation ongoing and took multiple precautions throughout the visit to prevent a potential spread between anyone. I went in because my front bottom teeth are slightly crowded and on the bottom, back side of them, they were beginning to brown. I asked questions about this and the lady who did the cleaning was both polite and informative. They used a painless and quick process to spray off the stains that I was worried about, on top of the usual cleaning without any extra charge. No judgement either, just there to help and inform. The doctor has been incredibly polite every visit just like the rest of the staff. The lady who rang me out even assisted me with some questions I had regarding my insurance card. The price was completely fair to my knowledge. I definitely feel what I paid was worth it entirely.It's been a flawless experience every visit and after today I will be recommending this doctor and her staff even more.“
