had my first visit there today. 15-year-old cat who has some thyroid issues and ended up getting matted up as he has not been grooming himself properly. hopefully new prescription will help with that. They were very kind. I've had other cats who've gotten matted up and taken them to different grooming places and they always ended up just shaving them basically from the neck down totally, even though they weren't matted everywhere. I think it was just faster and easier for them. However Furry Friends, I asked if they could just cut out the problem areas and he came home with most of his coat intact, and just the problem areas trimmed out. He looks a little funny, but that's okay he's got enough fur to keep his old skinny self warm when he ventures out on the porch. They were also extremely accommodating. I have a 90-year-old Alzheimer's parent who can barely walk and simple errands are no longer simple, and they were just great I'm helping the whole process go smoothly. Deeply appreciative of them.
My dog had a swollen nose when i picked him up. i asked what happened to his nose and was told he rubbed it on a blanket in his cage. the next day it started scabbing. now 3 days later, you can see where he had been injured. He is such a sweet dog, i don't understand what they did to him or why. i won't be using this place again. i wish they were honest about what happened, because they did a nice job with the grooming.
they did an amazing job. from making an appointment to checking in and then picking my dog up. she has never looked so good.
