So, I was in a pinch, my garbage disposal wasn't working. I thought my outlet might have gone bad, but my breaker didn't pop. I was all sorts of confused and normally I can fix basic stuff like what I was working on at my house.
I gave this company a call and the gentlemen that took my call, understood that I typically am able to fix things myself and instead of setting up a appointment , etc, He gave me a few basic instructions that I didn't think of and I was able to fix my problem myself. Turns out, it was such a easy fix too. I give this company a 5 start, for obvious reasons!
I highly recommend Riley Electrical Service. My mother was experiencing major issues with lights flickering and outlets blowing. We also needed to have an outlet installed for an electric hot water tank. Gerry came out and diagnosed the problems she was having immediately. He repaired everything in a timely manner and reasonably priced. After he completed the work and ran a test, we were having a problem with the electrical wiring outside. Gerry told me it was a neutral wire and to call the electric company to come out and repair. The technician came out, confirmed it was the neutral wire. I called Gerry Sunday morning after a terrible burning smell was emanating from my basement on Saturday night. It was very late on Saturday, so I shut down my furnace and the next morning I called Gerry who was at church, yet he answered my call. He came over right after church and found the mess that was my breaker panel. He couldn't believe the nest of wires everywhere with several burned out spots and the panel was out of date. He felt much of this mess was wired in a terribly dangerous way and assured me he could fix it. So he set out to find a new panel that was copper instead of aluminum.
