Thank Heaven for them. 24 hour care. Taking temp, blood pressure, sugar, getting mail fron front steps. Some, Cortez, was fun to talk to, similar interests- plants. Brandon, acting where I might have worked in theater. One bad experience was with Eric. Slept thru his shift in my guest bedroom. I needed pain pills at midnight, he did not hear my voice. Shouted 15 times. Then tried to turn volume up on my TV to awaken him, due to storm outside unable to get clear channel. One was kind enough to do laundry. Change sox and clothes. Thanks overall.
I don't know what I would do without my caregiver. She truly is special. Goes out of her way to make me feel good. She checks on me even when she is off. She stops on in with home-cooked meals. She knew I was bothered by a iodine stain, so she searched up ways to remove it and let me tell you she is a miracle worker. The stain is almost gone. Darla Griffie has a way to make me feel like I matter. She truly is a Godsend.
