We had Mike/SHS remodel our kitchen this summer and are very happy with the process and the results. Mike worked with us throughout the planning process, nothing felt rushed or like we had limited options. During the construction Mike was often onsite, but a lot of it was led by Shawn (or maybe Sean?) who was also great. They were both very communicative of any problems that appeared (there are always some) and were able to find clever solutions around some of the unique issues that are house presents.
We would use SHS again.
We had two bathrooms in our house completely remodeled during an extended period when we were awat. Mike Seward and his crew did a thoroughly professional and beautiful job in this older home, taking the spaces down to the studs. They added tiled walk-in showers, new flooring, new cabinetry, sinks and counters, etc. Every bit of the workmanship is precise, very well-done, and exactly what we most hoped for.

We hired Mike Seward to rebuild our front and rear decks about a year ago and, while weather and the pressure of other jobs delayed completion until a couple of weeks ago, the outcome is superb. Most importantly, Mike and his associates are excellent craftsmen and a delight to work with. We have a couple of indoor projects we'd like to do; when we can secure the resources for them he will have right of first recusal. If you need small to medium size construction/remodel jobs and live in the Oxford/Hamilton, Ohio region, give Mike a call. You won't regret it.
