My extended family travels to Hueston Woods for nearly 4 decades, and always spends a morning here at the Nation Road Horse Rental. Today was my first time leading my 3 year old on a horse ride, and she loved it! My kindergartner also loves it and has been doing it for the last few years. The staff are wonderful, helpful people. The older kids (and adults) love the half-hour trail ride. They take cash or card, but cash is preferred. We'll be back next year!

Took a group of five here. Scheduled the same day. It was very fun. This was my family's second time riding and one first timer. The horses were great and the staff very personable. We did the easy two mile trail and it was very pleasant. I highly recommend.

This place was great. My horse's name was George. He was a 20 yr old Tennessee walking rescue! Everyone was so nice and our group will definitely do this again!

Took my Daughter and her friend here on Easter, Judy and the rest of the staff there were absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly and the girls had an absolute blast. We will definitely be coming back many more times!

We went horseback riding at National Road Horse Rental in Oxford Ohio in 2025 and always had a great experience!! The owners, William and Judy, are nice people with a beautiful farm and happy well cared for horses!! The trails are well maintained and vary for beginners to experienced riders. There are not many good places left to go horseback riding in Southwest Ohio (almost none), so check this farm out and enjoy horseback riding here!! Very highly recommended!!
