I had a male chiropractor feel me up when I was 16, my mom stepped out of the room for 2 minutes!...I haven't had a male doctor of any kind since! Until the other day when I came here. I had always had female doctors for everything. So let me tell you...when Dr. Byron Jackson came down the stairs and saw me squatting in pain, since I had so much trouble standing, and said that he'd get me all fixed up...not gonna lie! I was instantly struck with panic, anxiety, fear, just a whirl of emotions from my past incident that I almost asked for a female doctor but I didn't. I told him of my past and he made me feel so safe and so comforted and just let me know that I'm safe there. It allowed me to let go and practice trust. With just 1 session with him I went from squatting, hardly being able to walk, and not able to stand up straight..to walking out standing up right all on my own! So if you're still reading this...just go! Everyone there will make you feel so heard, so loved and just so real! You'll never be just a number here. Now go! Luckily, I was able to get in on short notice, I was greeted by a comfy waiting area lit with pleasant candles and a basket of chocolate and other candies. I was treated to a one and a half hour whole body, deep tissue massage. Azenath was attentive to my specific aches and pains, was professional, respectful, and honest, massaging the full 1.5 hours. The music was relaxing, the massage oil smelled amazing, and the room was neat and clean. I look forward to booking again.
