I wholeheartedly recommend Rachael Marie Beauty to anyone looking for hair and makeup services. I have been a client of Rachael’s for well over 13+ years. She has provided a wide variety of services from hair cuts, color, highlights, wedding and makeup consultations. She is highly skilled and an expert at color, styling and makeup application. Besides my usual cut and color maintenance routine, Rachael did my hair and makeup for an Akron Children’s Hospital Gala and consulted on hair and makeup for my destination wedding. I don’t understand the prior reviews, as I have had only fabulous experiences. Rachael is professional, punctual, welcoming and has gone out of her way to accommodate my hectic work schedule. I have really high standards when it comes to my hair and Rachael has always exceeded my expectations. In addition, Rachael also cuts my husband and son’s hair. My son (18) won’t let anyone but Rachael touch his locks. That should speak volumes!Services: Hairstyling

WARNING! MAJOR SCAM!!!! Do not use Rachel Marie Beauty for any service! Rachel is the most unprofessional person that I have EVER worked with! A large deposit was placed for an upcoming wedding and she is refusing to return it. Do not work with her. She will take advantage of you!!!!!

Total Scam! My daughter and I were scheduled to do a trial run on hair/make-up for her upcoming wedding. Prior to this appointment Rachael had been late for a regular hair appointment and then completely missed (NO SHOWED) the next appointment. My daughter had already booked and paid for our "trial run" ($600+ CASH ONLY) that was to take place in September. After being NO SHOWED by Rachael my daughter spoke with her to discuss her concerns about doing the wedding but found Rachael's response to be dismissive and rude. My daughter canceled all services due to Rachael's unprofessional behavior. At this point Rachael refused to refund any or part of my daughter's payment. BEWARE of being SCAMMED by this person!! She has no regard for anyone's time or budget other than her own. I would recommend her to NO ONE! BEWARE!

THIS IS A SCAM. I booked Rachael to do my hair and makeup for myself, my family and my bridal party for my upcoming wedding. Since the first haircut appointment I had with her, she showed up late and even cancelled appointments on me while I was waiting for her in the parking lot. She has the ability to be talented but she is flaky, unreliable and completely unprofessional. After 3 consecutive bad experiences with her, I was concerned. To my own fault, I had already paid her over $600 cash via her preferred method of payment, Venmo, and did not sign a vendor contract which was the biggest mistake I could have made. I shared my concerns with her for her just plain not showing up for my wedding day. She refused to refund me and told me "she wasn't willing to have this conversation with me." I feel like she is a scam artist who collects funds from brides without ever doing any of the work. Save yourself the cash and find a better, more accountable and professional option.Services: Hairstyling
