About Hometown Laundromat
Hometown Laundromat is a convenient laundry spot known for getting the job done. While the floors may need cleaning and some machines are out of order, the overall experience is positive. Customers appreciate the well-maintained machines, including a large one that works effectively. There are plenty of carts available for easy transport of clothes. The laundromat is just a couple of blocks from nearby apartments, making it a favorite for late-night laundry trips. Although the space shows its age, it offers great value for money and has a warm atmosphere on sunny days. Refunds are provided when needed, adding to customer satisfaction. Recent reviews mention that the laundromat needs better maintenance, a good clean-up, and some air conditioning, but many customers still find it a good place to do laundry. Some machines are uncommon but appreciated. Prices are considered fair, especially for the washers. However, issues such as no soap in the bathroom, floors covered with dryer lint and dryer sheets, and lint in some dryers’ traps have been noted. Despite these problems, many visitors find it to be one of the nicer places in Canton for laundry, especially when coming on a Sunday.
I have only had to use laundromats at campgrounds. Used this one and was very impressed. Owner (I think) was cleaning out dryers and ceiling vents. Very nice friendly gentleman. I noticed when he was leaving he went around and said friendly comments to all the customers. I feel he had plenty of washers and dryers. From large to normal size, also some took credit cards. All clean and looking very nice. Also tables when seats. The restroom I looked in were very clean with plenty of soap and toilet paper. I would highly recommend this laundromat.
Such a nice and clean little laundromat. Conveniently located and open 24hrs as well. It is cash only and a coin machine is available on site. Lots of different machines to choose from and a nice quiet atmosphere.
It was nice, clean, close, reasonable, sufficient parking... I Definitely will not go again because it's CASH, Only: coin changer doesn't accommodate debit/credit cards.... Luckily, I had enough cash/ bills on hand to do my few loads
